Sparring Capital Foundation
As a member of the Sparring Capital Group, Pechel supports and participates in the Sparring Capital Foundation (FSC). The FSC is hosted by the Agir Contre l’Exclusion foundation and aims to support initiatives that intersect with the environmental preservation and social inclusion. Attracting donors from the Sparring Capital and Pechel ecosystems, FSC provides financial support and expertise to projects that stand out for their originality in addressing situations of exclusion through environmentally focused initiatives.
The selection committee in place pays particular attention to the consideration of these two dimensions and the measurement of produced results.

The association Ecole des Semeurs trains young people who have difficulty in the traditional school system to be greengrocers. The school is specialized in the sale of fruits and vegetables in short circuit and organic market gardening.
The support of the Sparring Capital Foundation will allow to finalize the installation of the technical platform (farm store, cold room, marketing materials) and to help financially the students, coming from modest families, within the framework of the training (professional clothing, transport, canteen).

API’UP was created in 2012 to carry out an innovative project of global waste management from the selective and customized collection of waste to its recovery by ecoresponsible recycling and industrial upcycling.
With Sparring Capital Foundation’s support the association will be able to carry out its technological and design innovation projects in order to create new eco-materials to be integrated in furniture.

Réseau Eco Habitat fights against energy insecurity by accompanying families in difficulty in all stages of renovation of their housing. The association relies on a vast network of volunteers in partnership with Secours Catholique who identify households in need and provide the link of trust as well as social support.
The support of the Sparring Capital Foundation will allow Réseau Eco Habitat to invest in the development of a software solution that will accelerate the setting up and administrative processing of files, this step being necessary to allow the association to change scale

ANDES acts for the access to a good quality food for all. It recovers unsold fruits and vegetables from wholesale markets. These are sorted and recycled on ANDES’s integration sites by people in professional integration, and then redistributed to people with modest incomes.
The support of the Sparring Capital Foundation has enabled the purchase of a cold room for the national market in Perpignan, France, which would allow to train people in integration to a range of new trades.

Fermes d’avenir is an association that works to accelerate the agricultural transition in France. Its mission is to grow agroecological farms throughout the country.
The Sparring Capital Foundation contributes to the organization of one of the training sessions of the training farms. This is a meeting that brings together experts, professional coaching by an agronomist, experience sharing, and specific coaching for refugees (job search, language learning…).

Ferme de Moyembrie, which grows organic fruits and vegetables, fights against recidivism by welcoming about 50 prisoners per year 9 months before their release.
Sparring Capital Foundation’s support will allow the creation of a position to manage relations with penitentiary centers and develop the number of partnerships.

Carton Plein is a socio-professional inclusion association that supports people in situations of exclusion towards employment by training them in ecologically innovative activities: collection, reuse of cardboards and bicycle logistics in Paris.
The Sparring Capital Foundation supports the development of a workshop located in Nanterre, which will later be an integration project.
